Hey, where do you usually manage projects with clients and your internal team at agencies? Is it slack only today?
George trello would be my pick - its simple for clients to understand and they have an MCP so you could effectively run your entire project management from a claude agent named Claire who can orchestrate between client, trello and Relume Publish. Client makes a request in Trello, Claire picks it up, and makes the change in Relume Publish! ✨
OH, yeah Slack for other communications with clients - 100%
I'm about to test it out but getting "agents" into slack seems to be somewhat difficult - at least through any unofficial channels. The official channels like Claude Tag, get really expensive really quickly.
so it really just comes down to volume - the MCPs talking to each other dont cost anything until the agent is reading things, but draws from your normal token usage, whereas the tag draws from API tokens (separate bill). What is nice about Claude Tag and API token usage is that you can cleanly pass the usage off to your client. Its the new "Website maintenance fee". They pay to get access to your agents to do the work. I have not fully tested all of this above end to end, this is based on my research/knowledge - its on my list to do
I think Slack will make this less difficult if they haven't already - I saw something in the news about it, but haven't looked into it - but there are other AI agent chats popping up - I've tried a couple, mostly garbage.
Yeah, agreed - working through MCP + Claude is a really nice setup. I went down the same path with the AI agent chats and didn’t find anything decent either. What I actually wanted was chat and a board in one place, so I ended up building my own app for it - just opened it up to the public recently. That’s partly why I asked in the first place: wanted to check whether something like this already exists and I’d built it for nothing. Not sure if links are allowed here, but happy to share in DMs if you’re curious.
fun building things for sure, biggest risk I see right now with building your own is acquiring users. If you build it for yourself cool, but if you're hoping to turn it into a business - it'll be incredibly hard. You and about 10M other people doing the same thing - wild times!
Yeah, agree
